Mojola Group

Covering: Gorilla Truck Access Control (GTAC), Gorilla Weighbridge Check (GWC), Gorilla Truck Inspection (GTI)
Effective date: July 2026

This policy explains how Mojola Group's mobile applications — Gorilla Truck Access Control (GTAC), Gorilla Weighbridge Check (GWC), and Gorilla Truck Inspection (GTI), together "the Apps" — collect, use, and store information.

The Apps are business tools built for a specific client organisation's own site operations (vehicle access control, weighbridge equipment checks, and mobile equipment inspections). Each installation is configured to connect only to that client organisation's own on-premises database and systems — not to any Mojola Group server, and not to any public cloud service.

Information the Apps collect

  • Driver/operator identity information entered or scanned during use, such as name, licence or ID number, and vehicle/trailer/equipment registration details.
  • Photographs taken within the Apps as evidence during an inspection or access check.
  • Login username and password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash, never in plain text).
  • Basic device information (a device identifier) used only to coordinate offline data syncing for that specific device.

The Apps do not collect location data, contacts, browsing history, or any information beyond what is directly entered, scanned, or photographed as part of completing an access check or inspection.

How this information is used

Information collected by the Apps is used solely to operate the access-control or inspection workflow the app is deployed for at that site — for example, verifying a driver and vehicle before allowing entry, or recording the outcome of an equipment safety inspection.

Mojola Group does not use this information for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core function.

Where information is stored

All information collected by an installation of the Apps is stored on that client organisation's own on-premises SQL Server database and file systems — infrastructure owned and controlled by the client, not by Mojola Group.

  • Information is not uploaded to any Mojola Group server.
  • Information is not shared with Google, any advertising network, or any other third party.
  • Information is not sold, rented, or used for any purpose outside the deploying organisation's own operations.

Connections between the app and the client's database are encrypted in transit (TLS).

Data retention and deletion

Because information is stored on each client organisation's own systems, that organisation controls how long records are kept and is responsible for responding to deletion requests. If you completed an inspection or access check using one of the Apps and want your information removed, please contact the site or organisation where you used the app directly.

Children's privacy

The Apps are business tools intended for use by adult employees, contractors, and drivers at industrial and mining sites. They are not directed at children, and Mojola Group does not knowingly collect information from children through the Apps.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the Apps or applicable law. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
